MSU's College of Education recognizes outstanding teacher interns

Mississippi State University's College of Education is honoring 15 spring graduates for their exceptional work as teacher interns in Magnolia State school districts.
The recipients of the Outstanding Teacher Intern Award were nominated for exceeding expectations while completing internships at public schools across the state. The honorees demonstrated exemplary professionalism, performance and a high level of commitment to the teaching profession.
The honorees include:
—Ginger Camp, an elementary education graduate, taught in the Calhoun County School District.
—Daelin Cotton, an elementary education graduate, taught in the Choctaw Tribal School System.
—Felicia Goss, an elementary education graduate, taught in the Union Public School District.
—Elena Groeschen, an elementary education graduate, taught in the Winona-Montgomery School District.
—Harley Holt, an elementary education graduate, taught in the Amory School District.
—Kathryn McArthur, a music education graduate, taught in the Gulfport School District.
—Peyton McDaniel, an elementary education graduate, taught in the Webster County School District.
—Gabriel Medlin, an elementary education graduate, taught in the New Albany School District.
—Autumn Meyer, a secondary education graduate, taught in the Starkville Oktibbeha Consolidated School District.
—Madison Moore, an elementary education graduate, taught in the Lauderdale County School District.
—Brantley Prescott, a secondary education graduate, taught in the Starkville Oktibbeha Consolidated School District.
—Katelyn Skelton, an elementary education graduate, taught in the Starkville Oktibbeha Consolidated School District.
—Savanah Stephens Crenshaw, an elementary education graduate, taught in the Lauderdale County School District.
—Natalie Ward, a secondary education graduate, taught in the Webster County School District.
—Taylor Williams, an elementary education graduate, taught in the Lauderdale County School District.
"We are immensely proud of our exceptional interns who have consistently surpassed expectations throughout their internship," said Donna Shea, director of MSU's Office of Clinical/Field-Based Instruction, Licensure and Outreach. "We are confident they will continue to make a significant, positive impact on many students' lives in the years ahead."
